PARCS provides free specialist counselling and psychotherapy to women and men, aged 13+ who are resident in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire and who have experienced any form of sexual violation at any time in their lives.
Counselling takes place at our confidential address in dedicated, well-resourced counselling rooms. PARCS is wheelchair accessible and has a hearing loop installed. PARCS operate telephone support lines on the following days and time. Monday (1pm - 3pm), Wednesday and Friday (7pm - 9pm). The numbers are :- Womens line 023 9266 9511, Mens line 023 9266 9516. PARCS AimsTo promote healthy relationships and alleviate the physical , emotional and mental distress associated with sexual abuse through the provision of education, training, support and free therapy to women and men.
PARCS has a written Complaint Procedure and Equal Opportunities Statement. The agency is a member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists and the Survivors Trust PARCS adheres to local Safeguarding Children procedures.
