PARCS Confidentiality
PARCS offers a confidential service, however, if your counsellor thinks that someone under 18 is at risk of serious harm or abuse, they may have to pass that information to other organisations
This is because we work to the Hampshire Wide Child Protection Procedures, most other organisations work to similar ethical procedures
Our address is confidential and before your first appointment you will be given the details of where we are located

Computers store temporary folders about the websites you have visited.
If you do not want anyone to be able to see that you have visited this site there are 3 things you can do to help keep it private
How To Delete Temporary Internet Files
Click on TOOLS and then click on the tab marked GENERAL in the box that appears.
Go to the section that says TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES
Click the box marked DELETED FILES
A box will appear and you need to tick the box that says DELETE ALL OFFLINE FILES
Once you have done this then click OK
How To Delete History
In Internet Explorer Click on TOOLS and click the tab marked GENERAL in the box that appears
Go to the section that says HISTORY
Click on the CLEAR HISTORY button
A box will appear asking you if you want to delete all items in the history - click YES
How To Delete Cookies
Click on TOOLS and then click the tab marked GENERAL in the box that appears
Go to the section that says TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES
Click the box marked DELETE COOKIES then click OK
Please Note: The above procedures are for an XP computer using Internet Explorer 6
In VISTA which uses Internet Explorer 7, you can do all of the above by going to the Windows
icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, click on it and then choose CONTROL PANEL
Click on NETWORK AND INTERNET and then choose INTERNET OPTIONS
In the GENERAL tab locate BROWSING HISTORY and click the DELETE option
A new box will then appear where you can choose what you would like to delete
If you prefer, you can use the DELETE ALL... option to be 100% sure all information is removed
YOU WILL NEED TO RESTART YOUR COMPUTER ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS
