Counselling Service

We offer a free counselling service to young people aged 13 to 24 years old, who have been affected by any type of sexual violation. This includes rape and other forms of sexual abuse. To access the service you need to live in Portsmouth. We work with women and men living in postcode areas PO1 to PO6.

No matter how long ago the sexual violation took place, you can still use the service. To refer yourself for counselling please contact Ruth on 023 9266 9519. Alternatively someone could make a referral on your behalf; a doctor, a teacher, youth worker, parent, or guardian.

Outreach Service

PARCS also delivers workshops in schools, colleges and youth centres to raise awareness of the issues surrounding rape and sexual abuse. The workshops also help young people understand the issue of consent and the laws around rape and sexual abuse.
